Hiking in Ushuaia
Our expedition will spend a day hiking through the dramatic landscapes of Tierra del Fuego National Park, tracing trails that wind through dense lenga and coihue forests, past glacial streams, and along the wild coastline of the Beagle Channel. Along the way, we’ll keep watch for native wildlife like the elusive Andean fox, soaring caracaras, and flocks of austral parakeets. We’ll also see signs of the infamous (and invasive) beavers whose dams have reshaped parts of the ecosystem. With its mix of rugged mountains, windswept meadows, and rich biodiversity, Tierra del Fuego offers a rare and intimate encounter with the natural world at the end of the Earth.
