Polar Plunge

Our polar plunges are conducted right from the beach, offering a safe and unforgettable way to experience the icy waters of Antarctica. With water temperatures typically between 30°–32°F (or a balmy 34°F if we’re lucky enough to be at Deception Bay), it’s a brisk dip that’ll leave you breathless and buzzing with adrenaline.

Afterward, we’ll warm up with hot chocolate and plenty of cheering, and you might even get the chance to lounge on a small iceberg — yes, really! Scouts on the 2021 trip had a blast doing just that. Be sure to pack swim shoes or flipflops and a swimsuit if you want to join in this legendary experience at the bottom of the world.
